Typical Session length: 59 mins.
Specialist therapists: BetterTalk is the only UK therapeutic provider where every therapist has been trained to Advanced Level at the prestigious BRIEF Centre for Solution Focused Practice in London and is a member of the United Kingdom Association for Solution-Focused Practice (UKASFP).
SFT and CBT: Our core approach is SFT -- solution-focused therapy (see ABOUT tab for more); our team can also provide BACP-accredited CBT counselling as part of our affordable online therapy services.
Payments and Cancellation: The following terms apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, though exceptions may be considered at the practitioner's sole discretion in cases of unforeseen illness or other exceptional or extenuating circumstance. BetterTalkUK requests that clients settle invoices no later than three working days before the scheduled date of an appointment. Not doing this may unfortunately mean cancellation, plus termination of BetterTalkUK’s relationship with the client(s). Client cancellation of a booked session should occur no later than one working day before the booking, in order to avoid incurring the session cost. When a prepaid package is cancelled mid-package, clients will be refunded for any sessions not yet attended less an administrative fee of 18% of the package cost, but not less than £65. Any separately purchased trial or introductory sessions are non-refundable and are not considered part of any subsequent package agreement.
Session Validity: Single sessions purchased are valid for two weeks, double-session packages for four weeks, and five & six-session packages for one year.
**Subscriptions and Standing Orders. 1:1 clients who find open-ended subscriptions (of over five weeks) more convenient can contact BetterTalk UK for details. You will be are free to cancel at any time and will be refunded any outstanding amount.
